    Selling safely to strangers on social media

    1. Create a transaction from your dashboard with the item name and price.
    2. Share the generated payment link with your buyer instead of asking for direct bank transfer.
    3. Wait for the 'Payment Received' notification before shipping or delivering -- funds are already secured in escrow.
    4. Mark the item as shipped/delivered once it's on its way.
    5. Get paid automatically once the buyer confirms receipt.

    Paying a seller you don't fully trust yet

    1. Ask the seller for an XcrowPay payment link instead of paying directly to a personal account.
    2. Review the item price and fees on the payment page before paying.
    3. Pay via bank transfer -- your money goes into escrow, not directly to the seller.
    4. Confirm receipt once you've checked the item is as described. This releases funds to the seller.
    5. If something's wrong, open a dispute instead of confirming -- your funds stay held until it's resolved.
